World Kayak proudly announces the 5th annual series of grassroots paddling events in the Tri-Cities region.  The World Kayak Hometown Throwdown is a series of FUN & FREE whitewater paddling events aimed at friendly competition on the Nolichucky River.  Judging is fun, rules are easy and prizes are only given out for participation… we draw names from a hat!

All boaters/paddlers are welcome to participate!  Our World Kayak region has teamed up with local Sponsors & World Kayak Partners to have 3 FREE events with prizes over the course of the 2013 summer paddling season.  However, you will be required to purchase a day pass ($3.00+tax per vehicle) from Riverpark Campground for the Nolichucky events.

NOTICE: Please do not park in a campsite at Riverpark Campground!  Campsites are only for paying camping guests and the owners have asked that we respect this policy.  Thanks for your cooperation in this matter by only parking in the day use area or the field adjacent to the campground entrance at the road.
