Welcome to the Richmond region
Richmond, Va has lots to offer when it comes to whitewater paddling. The James River is our backyard jewel, ranging from Class I – V(with high levels)and runnable year-round. But, that’s not all. There are tons of rivers and creeks scattered throughout the region that will challenge all paddlers from novice to expert. Richmond also has a large whitewayer paddling community that is very friendly and open to new paddlers. Come check it out.

Competition is starting to heat up on the lower James. We had a good showing with 9 racers, good water and good times. The talk amongst the 3 glass boat racers is starting to get interesting. Love some good competition, I hope it keeps growing.
