My family and I have lived in the Columbia River Gorge area for almost 9 years. Seven of those years have been spent kayaking with my family and friends. My wife Alicia,  is our resident shuttle Goddess and our 13 year old son, Jeffery is an accomplished class IV kayaker who is  just starting to surf, huck and hop with the best of them. We try to get out every weekend and also a Wednesday every week in the spring and summer months. I am not fiercely competitive, but I love to get out and support our local slaloms, hucks and creeking competitions.
