The Rockies had a low snow year and many rivers have yet to see much of a run-off. However, In Western Montana/Eastern Idaho the Mountains received 100% snow pack this year, therefor are experiencing a normal Spring run-off. It has actually been epic! A series of warm days followed by cold days have made for one of the most consistent run-offs in years. If you are looking for water look no further then Missoula. We are currently experiencing a week of cold weather…causing the river levels to drop…but still awesome levels for both surfing and kayaking. The cold weather is bringing late snowfall to the higher elevations this week. Temps will be warming again by mid next week…causing the levels to be on the rise once again. Hope to see ya on the water~!
