It’s on . . . the West Coast women invite YOU for a weekend of learning, sharing, laughing, competing and tons of FUN!

It seems that in the last 2-3 years, women participants, in the sport of kayaking, have increased dramatically. I think one of the main reasons is the social aspect of the sport. With this in mind, the 1st Annual West Coast Womenand#39;s Whitewater Festival was born.
We have put together a great event for ALL AGES, ALL ABILITIES to have fun and celebrate this great sport.
Wet Planet Whitewater in Husum, WA has graciously agreed to allow FREE camping on their property upstream of BZ Falls, where we will have our BBQ, awards and film showing on Saturday evening. Boat and Paddle demoand#39;s will be available all weekend – Liquid Logic, Jackson Kayak, Dagger, AT Paddles. We have three competitions set up:
1st competition: Head to Head – Maytag rapid through Top Drop
2nd competition: Eight Ball from above Husum through Rattlesnake (level dependant) THIS COMPETITION IS FOR MEN AND WOMEN!!!
3rd competition: Down river race – Flume through BZ Falls
This is the first year organizing this event – it will get bigger and better every year. And, who knows . . . maybe it will be on YOUR river next year!!!
