The Golden Community Rodeo is back again in 2012 and it is going to be another great year. If you have ever wanted to test your skills in the world of freestyle kayaking this is your chance. The GCR lets everyone join in the fun. It offers groupings; junior girls and boys, men’s and women’s divisions (separated into sport, intermediate, and expert classes), as well as a masters grouping.
The action takes place on Wednesday’s nights (5/30, 6/6, 6/13, & 6/20) at the Golden Whitewater Course in downtown Golden, CO. This is open to the public and you sign-up before each contest. There are prizes given out at the end of each night as well as overall prizes at the end of all four nights.
