Welcome to the Chattanooga region

The Chattanooga region is located in East Tennessee and a paddler’s dream! We are within a one hour drive of year round whitewater for paddlers of all skill levels. Close to Georgia and Alabama, our area has it all.  Rivers are available for all skill levels. Most southeast paddlers get their start in our backyard. The Hiwassee river is available to beginners…but that is just the beginning. Improve your skills and move on to guaranteed dam release rivers in the summer, including the Ocoee River and the Upper Ocoee, home to the 1996 Olympic Games. But the beauty comes alive when the natural flow rivers start running. Whitewater is not the only jewel available in our region, flatwater paddler’s will be amazed at the beauty they can explore. New or experienced, come check us out!
