I started paddling in my early teens and have been paddling for approximately 20 years.  I grew up in the area and have had the opportunity of paddling in other exotic locations such as Chile, Mexico and throughout the North Eastern States.  My wife and I teach for our small whitewater kayaking school in the summer.  Recently I have become very involved with our local whitewater paddling club, Kawartha Whitewater Paddlers and am also an organizer of the Marmora Area Canoe & Kayak Festival (M.A.C.K. fest) www.mackfest@hotmail.com.  I am very passionate about getting people out whitewater paddling.
