kootenaicreekBozeman Montana is located two hours northwest of Yellowstone National Park and contains some of the best whitewater in the state. The most commonly run rivers are The Gallatin, Yellowstone, and The Madison along with a plethora of excellent creeks to back up those standard runs. Theres boating for all types of paddlers here, from scenic class II floats all the way up to gnar V+ expeditions. The Gallatin is the typical “after work” run for Bozmanites as it is a 25 minute drive from the heart of town and has several stretches that range from II to IV depending on flows.

A Great Night at Corbin Wave

We had a large turnout of over 15 boaters and the levels were perfect for Wednesday Nights Throw Down at Corbin Wave. For many it was their first time getting in the water and playing at Corbin and the energy in the water was full of excitement. There were three main events designed to be fun yet push all of the paddlers to try something new

First Home Town Throw Down of 2017

The first event of the season is less than a week away! Looking at the river forecasts for the St. Joe and the Coeur d’Alene, lake levels, and current flows… Confidence is high that we will be able to make things happen at Corbin Wave!!! The level has been holding at a perfect 20,000 CFS for over a week now and there have been boaters out surfing it every day for almost a month. Next week’s event will be @ Corbin Park on Wednesday May 17th @ 6pm
