Update on the Boise Whitewater Park

Construction of the long-awaited Ray Neef MD River Recreation Park on the Boise River is continuing at a brisk pace. This week crews have been installing the Wave Shapers in the new concrete structures that are replacing the old Thurman Mill diversion near Quinn’s Pond.

Shortage of snow

It’s a shock to look up at the Boise Foothills in December and see a brown Bogus Basin. In the sheltered spot where the SnoTel site is located at Bogus Basin, there’s 9 inches of snow.
